Jakarta, 21 January 2026 — vOffice has officially entered into a strategic collaboration with the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA) and the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) Alumni Association to open and strengthen investment access for Chinese companies looking to enter the Indonesian market. This collaboration was formalized through a forum titled The Indonesia–China Business Bridge: Your Gateway to Investing in Indonesia, held at vOffice Centennial Tower, Jakarta, on Wednesday (21/1).
The forum served as a high-level platform bringing together key stakeholders from Indonesia and China to foster an integrated and sustainable cross-border investment ecosystem. Prominent national and international figures attended the event, including Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (2020–2024) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Secretary General of the TEDA One-Stop Overseas Service Center Emily Zhou, Vice Governor of West Kalimantan Krisantus Kurniawan, Deputy for Investment Implementation Control at the Ministry of Investment/BKPM Edy Junaedi Harahap, as well as representatives from the energy, banking, and human capital sectors from both countries.

In his opening remarks, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno emphasized that this collaboration is expected to help build an ecosystem that effectively connects global business players with investment opportunities in Indonesia.
“This partnership has the potential to create an ecosystem that enables more entrepreneurs—both from China and other countries—to invest in Indonesia,” he stated.
The forum also featured strategic discussion sessions covering cross-border collaboration opportunities, market entry strategies for Indonesia, and regulatory insights for foreign companies. These discussions provided participants with a comprehensive overview of Indonesia’s business readiness and the growth potential of its priority sectors.
From the international partner’s perspective, Emily Zhou highlighted Indonesia’s strong appeal to global investors.
“Indonesia offers a highly attractive business ecosystem. Through this collaboration, we hope the market entry process for Chinese companies will become more streamlined, structured, and efficient,” she said.
Support from the banking sector was also expressed. Liu Yue confirmed that Bank of China is ready to support the business ecosystem developed through this collaboration.
“We fully support vOffice and TEDA’s efforts to facilitate investment inflows and business activities in Indonesia,” he remarked.
The event concluded with a plaque unveiling ceremony and traditional tumpeng cutting, symbolizing the official launch of the collaboration between vOffice, TEDA, and the BFSU Alumni Association, and reflecting a shared commitment to long-term strategic cooperation.
Expanding Access for Tianjin-Based Companies to Indonesia
Efforts to strengthen Indonesia–China business connectivity entered a new phase through a strategic partnership between vOffice, TEDA, and the BFSU Indonesia Alumni Association, aimed at supporting Tianjin-based companies seeking expansion into Indonesia.
This collaboration was announced during an official visit by the Indonesian delegation to TEDA, one of China’s most influential economic and technological development zones. Participants in the visit included Sean Tham, Group Chairman of vOffice, Albert Goh, Group CEO of vOffice, Sudjadi, CEO of Silver Bullet, along with key stakeholders actively promoting Indonesia–China trade relations.
Led by Xie Yi, President of the BFSU Indonesia Alumni Association and CEO of Elephant Data Technology Indonesia, the delegation toured TEDA’s core facilities and received in-depth briefings on its industrial ecosystem. TEDA is widely recognized as a global manufacturing and innovation hub, hosting multinational corporations such as Tiens, FAW-Volkswagen, Volvo, Novo Nordisk, Otis Elevator, Airbus, and Apple.
During the meeting, TEDA presented its global expansion services and infrastructure designed to support companies entering overseas markets. In return, the Indonesian delegation provided a comprehensive overview of Indonesia’s market potential, priority industries, and the country’s evolving investment policies and regulatory framework.
The visit culminated in the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between the TEDA Global Expansion Base, BFSU Indonesia Alumni Association, and vOffice. Under this collaboration, vOffice was appointed as the primary local partner responsible for providing business address solutions, licensing assistance, market-entry advisory, and ongoing operational support for Tianjin-based companies entering Indonesia.
At the same occasion, TEDA also inaugurated the Indonesia Integrated Service Station, a one-stop service center offering regulatory guidance, business localization support, and trade facilitation between Tianjin enterprises and Indonesian partners. The appointment of vOffice as the key partner underscores TEDA’s confidence in vOffice’s proven experience and capabilities in supporting cross-border business expansion.
Through this collaboration, vOffice reaffirms its commitment to fostering an inclusive, integrated, and sustainable business ecosystem—while opening wider pathways for Chinese investment into Indonesia and further strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
